ADVOCATING YOUR IDEAS EFFECTIVELY
Join University Distinguished Teaching Professor, John Daly, as he walks through his research and offers tips to bolstering effective advocacy. Dr. Daly has worked with the White House in the Executive Office of the President designing and implementing a major customer service initiative as well as with numerous Federal, State, and local government units throughout the United States. He also teaches Advocacy and Politics to the Archer Fellows each semester.
What does it take to communicate powerful ideas? How do some succeed at influencing opinion and changing attitudes? In this program we will summarize some fascinating findings about what people who are extraordinarily effective at championing their ideas know and do.
